History

Our Club was established in 1976 by members of The Church of the Good Shepherd led by the newly appointed Rector of The Parish of Wisley with Pyrford - Philip Gardner.  He recognised that there was a high percentage of men who communted out of the area to work and upon retirement had few friends locally.

 Although established by the Church, many non-church members joined and to this day it remains independent, run by the members for their benefit.
